The Government of Sindh, Information Department, has announced 44 vacancies on a regular basis, under the administrative control of the Directorate General Public Relations (PRs), Headquarters, Information Department, Karachi. Applications are invited from candidates holding a Domicile and Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) of Sindh Province.

Candidates will appear for a walk-in interview/test on 13.08.2026 at 11:00 a.m., along with all original documents.

About the Department

The Information Department, Government of Sindh, operates under the Directorate General Public Relations (PRs), headquartered at the Sindh Secretariat, Karachi, and is responsible for public relations and information dissemination functions for the provincial government.

Terms & Conditions

1. Candidates must possess domicile and PRC of Sindh Province.
2. The quota reserved for initial appointment shall be adhered to as per applicable Laws, Rules, and Policy of the Government of Sindh.
3. Age will be calculated from the closing date of application submission, as per Rule-7 of the Sindh Civil Servants (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 2024; upper age relaxation limit is 5 years, per Notification No. SOII(SGA&CD)5-64/2011 (Part-II) dated 06.03.2025.
4. Candidates will appear for a walk-in interview/test on 13.08.2026 at 11:00 a.m., with all original documents; no TA/DA will be admissible.
5. Appointment will be made as per the policy notified by the Government of Sindh on 26.04.2023, under the provisions of the Sindh Civil Servants Act, 1973, as amended from time to time.
6. Candidates already in government service should apply through the proper channel.
7. Every successful candidate will undergo antecedents' verification by Police/Special Branch, per existing policy.
8. Successful candidates will be posted against the advertised post and place, and will not be entitled to transfer for 5 years.
9. The Department reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.
