CPEC Secretariat Jobs 2026 – Powering CPEC 2.0, Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives

The CPEC Secretariat, under the Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives, has announced 21 positions plus 5 internship opportunities to support "CPEC 2.0," spanning Senior Specialist roles (PPS-10) in Energy, Infrastructure & Regional Connectivity, Socio-Economic Development, Investment & Industrial, Agriculture, Science & IT, Maritime & Blue Economy, and Media, along with Specialist roles (PPS-9) in Energy, Infrastructure & Regional Connectivity, and Maritime & Blue Economy, a Social Media Expert and Content Writer, and three Research Officer posts. Eligible candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in the relevant field for Senior Specialist and Specialist roles (with age limits of 50 and 45 years respectively), while Research Officers require a graduate degree with a maximum age of 35 years; these positions are open until filled, with applications reviewed on a rolling basis, so candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible via www.pc.gov.pk or by courier/email using the prescribed proforma.

About the Organization

The CPEC Secretariat, under the Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives, Government of Pakistan, is inviting applications to join the team powering CPEC 2.0. Interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria are encouraged to apply for the following positions.

ii. Applicants working in the government/public sector must apply through proper channels.

iii. Only eligible candidates will be shortlisted for the test/interview. No TA/DA shall be admissible.

iv. The CPEC Secretariat reserves the right to increase or decrease posts, or cancel the recruitment process.

v. Interns shall be engaged on a lump sum stipend basis under the applicable internship policy.

vii. Appointments will be made on merit, ensuring equal opportunity for all candidates.
