About the Organization

The Engineering Development Board (EDB), operating under the Ministry of Industries & Production, is mandated to develop, modernize, upgrade, and enhance the capacity of Pakistan's engineering, industrial, and services sectors on global modern lines. Under its "Strengthening the Engineering Industry-SEI" initiative, EDB has invited applications for several project positions.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Financial Analyst – PPS-11 – 01 Post

• Education: CA, ACMA, ACCA, or a Master's degree in Finance or a related field from an HEC-recognized and reputable foreign/local university.
• Experience: Minimum 10–15 years of post-qualification experience as a Financial Analyst.
• Age limit: Up to 55 years.

2. Cost Accountant – PPS-11 – 01 Post

• Education: CA, ACMA, ACCA, or a Master's degree in Finance or a related field from an HEC-recognized and reputable foreign/local university.
• Experience: Minimum 10–15 years of post-qualification experience as a Cost Accountant.
• Age limit: Up to 55 years.

3. Economist – PPS-11 – 01 Post

• Education: Master's degree (16 years of education) with 16 years of experience, or MS (12 years of experience), or PhD (8 years of experience), in Economics, Development Economics, or a related field, from an HEC-recognized and reputable foreign/local university.
• Age limit: Up to 55 years.

4. Business Development/Marketing Outreach – PPS-11 – 01 Post

• Education: Master's degree in Business Administration, Management Sciences, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field, with 16 years of experience, or MS (12 years of experience), or PhD (8 years of experience), from an HEC-recognized and reputable foreign/local university.
• Age limit: Up to 55 years.

5. Consultants – PPS-11 – 06 Posts

(Chemical/Petrochemicals, Steel & Other Metals, Electrical/Capital Goods, Heavy Engineering, Industrial Process Engineering, Engineering Services)

• Education: At least B.Sc./B.E. with 16 years of experience, or MS (12 years of experience), or PhD (8 years of experience), in the relevant field of engineering.
• Age limit: Up to 55 years.

6. Business Development Manager – PPS-07 – 02 Posts

• Education: 16 years of education in Business Administration, Management Sciences, Marketing/PR, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience: More than 5 years of post-qualification experience in media/stakeholder coordination and managing seminars, workshops, official events, conferences, and symposia at national and international levels.
• Age limit: Up to 35 years.

7. Accounts Officer/DDO – PPS-07 – 01 Post

• Education: 16 years of education in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized university.
• Experience: At least 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in financial management, budgeting, auditing, and compliance with public-sector accounting rules and procedures.
• Age limit: Up to 35 years.

8. Research Assistant – PPS-06 – 06 Posts

• Education: 16 years of education in Business Administration, Management Sciences, Marketing/PR, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience: More than 2 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field. Experience related to EV (electric vehicles), including battery manufacturing and evaluation, will be preferred.
• Age limit: Up to 30 years.
