Islamabad Club Jobs 2026 – CEO, COO, CFO & Head of Internal Audit (Contract Leadership Positions)
Islamabad Club has announced four senior leadership vacancies for 2026: Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Operating Officer (COO), Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and Head of Internal Audit, each on a 3-year contract extendable by 2 years, with no claim to regularization. The CEO (reporting to the Administrator) needs an MBA/CA/CFA or related Master's with 15 years of experience, including 7 years at CEO/C-level. The COO (reporting to the CEO) needs a Master's in Hospitality/Hotel Management with 15 years of hospitality operations experience, including 5 years in a senior role. The CFO and Head of Internal Audit (reporting to the CEO and Finance & Audit Committee, respectively) both require a mandatory CA/ACCA/ACMA/CPA qualification, an MBA (Finance) as an advantage, and 12 years of post-qualification experience, including 5 years at a senior finance or audit leadership level. All posts offer market-competitive compensation with Club privileges. About the Organization
Islamabad Club has invited applications for four senior leadership positions: Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Operating Officer (COO), Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and Head of Internal Audit. All four posts are offered on a 3-year contract basis, extendable by a further 2 years subject to satisfactory performance, and are purely contractual with no claim to regularization or permanent employment.


Eligibility Criteria
1. Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
- Education: Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) in Business Administration, CA/CFA, Master's in Hospitality Management or Management, or a related field, from an HEC-recognized university.
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of post-qualification experience, including at least 7 years as CEO or in a C-level position in a multi-company or multi-unit organization.
- Preferred: A demonstrated record of full P&L ownership with proven results in revenue growth, cost control, and operational turnaround. Experience leading a premier members' club, recreational project, or large hospitality/sports organization is strongly preferred.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Drive the Club's long-term vision by formulating, executing, and delivering the strategic plan, business plan, and annual budgets approved by the Board.
- Lead, direct, and hold accountable the senior management team (CFO, COO) through clear performance targets and rigorous reviews, while safeguarding the independence of the internal audit function.
- Set and enforce uncompromising standards of member service across dining, rooms, sports, golf, and events.
- Aggressively grow revenues across membership, F&B, rooms, banquets, and sports; optimize costs; and ensure the Club remains financially self-sustaining.
- Uphold the Club's constitution, bye-laws, and rules, embedding sound governance and regulatory compliance.
- Serve as the Club's principal representative before members, government bodies, affiliated clubs, the diplomatic community, and the media.
- Spearhead major development projects and the renovation/modernization of Club facilities.
- Build a high-performance, member-first service culture, develop leadership depth through succession planning, and report regularly to the Board.
2. Chief Operating Officer (COO)
- Education: Master's degree in Hospitality/Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field, from an HEC-recognized university.
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of hospitality operations experience, including at least 5 years in a senior role (COO, Resident/General Manager, Director Operations, or equivalent). A proven record of managing F&B, rooms, and recreational operations in a five-star hotel, premier club, or resort is required.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee day-to-day operations of all Club outlets, including restaurants, banquets, guest rooms, sports complex, golf course, and recreational facilities.
- Translate approved strategy into operational plans, KPIs, and measurable service standards.
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, housekeeping, and member/guest satisfaction.
- Plan and manage Club events, functions, sports tournaments, and member activities.
- Optimize processes, inventory, and resource utilization while controlling operating costs.
- Ensure health, safety, food safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance in all operations.
- Oversee maintenance of facilities, grounds, and equipment, and plan operational upgrades.
- Lead, coach, and develop department heads and operational staff; report regularly to the CEO.
3. Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
- Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, ACMA, or CPA, as a mandatory qualification. An MBA (Finance) from an HEC-recognized university, in addition, will be considered an additional advantage.
- Experience: Minimum 12 years of post-qualification experience, including at least 5 years as CFO, Finance Director, or Head of Finance. Experience in hospitality, a members' club, or a not-for-profit organization is preferred, as is working experience with ERP/hospitality accounting systems (SAP, Odoo, Oracle, Opera, or similar).
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and the overall financial strategy of the Club.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards and laws.
- Manage member billing, subscriptions, receivables, and recovery of outstanding dues.
- Manage cash flow, treasury, investments of Club funds, and banking relationships.
- Establish robust internal controls over F&B, rooms, stores, sports, and event revenues; liaise with external auditors and the Head of Internal Audit.
- Ensure full tax compliance (income tax, sales tax on services, withholding) and all statutory filings.
- Provide financial analysis and MIS reports to the CEO, Finance Committee, and Board, including departmental profitability and costing.
- Lead, develop, and supervise the Finance & Accounts team.
4. Head of Internal Audit
- Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, ACMA, or CPA, as a mandatory qualification. An MBA (Finance) from an HEC-recognized university, in addition, will be considered an additional advantage.
- Experience: Minimum 12 years of post-qualification experience in internal audit, risk, or assurance, including at least 5 years as Head of Internal Audit/Chief Internal Auditor or equivalent. Audit experience in hospitality, a members' club, or a not-for-profit organization, and familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Odoo, Oracle, Opera), is preferred.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a risk-based annual internal audit plan, approved by the Finance & Audit Committee.
- Conduct financial, operational, compliance, and IT audits across all Club departments, including F&B, rooms, stores, sports, golf, and events.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, SOPs, and delegation of financial powers.
- Review procurement, vendor contracts, payroll, and membership receivables for compliance and value for money.
- Conduct surprise inspections, stock takes, and cash counts; investigate irregularities and suspected fraud.
- Monitor compliance with the Club's constitution, bye-laws, policies, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Report findings to the Finance & Audit Committee and track implementation of management action plans.
- Coordinate with external auditors and lead the Internal Audit team in line with IIA Standards.
Pay Package
All four posts offer attractive, market-competitive compensation and benefits, including Club privileges, commensurate with qualifications and experience. No specific salary figures are stated.
Terms of Contract (All Four Posts)
- Appointment will be on a contract basis for a period of 3 years.
- The contract may be extended for a further 2 years, subject to satisfactory performance.
- The position is purely contractual and not regularizable; the appointee shall have no claim to regularization or permanent employment.
