The Independent System and Market Operator of Pakistan (ISMO), a State-Owned Enterprise under the Government of Pakistan, has announced 122 contract-based vacancies across engineering, IT, finance, HR, legal, corporate affairs, and medical roles. Key posts include 29 Senior Engineers, 60 combined Engineer-I/Engineer-II (Electrical/Electronics), IT Support, System and Network Administrators, QA Engineer, several Senior Analyst and Analyst-I/II roles (Finance, HR, Legal, IT, Corporate Communication, Corporate Affairs), 3 Executive Assistants, and a Medical Officer. Qualifications range from a 4-year Bachelor's degree to professional certifications (CA, ACCA, ACMA) or an MBBS with PMDC registration, with age limits between 28 and 35 years and experience requirements of up to 5 years depending on the post. Applications must be submitted online only through the NTS website (www.nts.org.pk) by 8 October 2026. Shortlisted and eligible candidates must have their fingerprints updated in NADRA before the written test, or they will not be permitted to appear. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the test and/or interview, with no TA/DA admissible. For queries, call 051-8444441.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Senior Engineer – 29 Posts

Minimum 4-year Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from an HEC-recognized university, with PEC registration.

2. Assistant Manager (Business Finance / Regulatory Finance / Accounts & Financial Reporting) – 03 Posts

Minimum 4-year Bachelor's degree in Finance from an HEC-recognized university, or CA (Qualified/Finalist), ACMA (Qualified/Finalist), ACCA (Qualified/Finalist), or membership of a professional body of accountants. Knowledge of IFRS is preferred.

3. Assistant Manager (Sales Tax) – 01 Post

Minimum 4-year Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance from an HEC-recognized university, with GST/Sales Tax specialization, or CA (Qualified/Finalist), ACMA (Qualified/Finalist), ACCA (Qualified/Finalist), or membership of a professional body of accountants.

4. IT Support – 04 Posts

Minimum 4-year Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or Software Engineering from an HEC-recognized university. Relevant certifications preferred.

5. System Administrator – 01 Post

Minimum 4-year Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or Software Engineering from an HEC-recognized university. Relevant certifications preferred.

6. Network Administrator – 01 Post

Minimum 4-year Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or Telecommunications from an HEC-recognized university. Relevant certifications preferred.

7. QA Engineer – 01 Post

Minimum 4-year Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering from an HEC-recognized university. Relevant certifications preferred.

8. Senior Analyst (IT Governance & Compliance) – 01 Post

Minimum 4-year Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, or Information Security from an HEC-recognized university. Relevant certifications preferred.

9. Senior Analyst (Corporate Communication) – 01 Post

Minimum 4-year Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Development Studies, International Relations, Computer Arts, Public Relations, Business Administration, Management, or Marketing from an HEC-recognized university.

10. Senior Analyst (Tariff Analysis & Financial Modelling) – 01 Post

Minimum 4-year Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance from an HEC-recognized university, or CA (Qualified/Finalist), Cost & Management Accountant (Qualified/Finalist), CA Inter, ICMA Inter, ACCA (Qualified/Finalist), or membership of a professional body of accountants.

11–12. Engineer-II and Engineer-I (Electrical/Electronics) – 60 Posts Combined

Minimum 4-year Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from an HEC-recognized university, with PEC registration.

• Engineer-II: Age up to 30 years; minimum 2 years of post-qualification relevant experience.
• Engineer-I: Age up to 28 years; candidates with relevant experience preferred.

13–14. Analyst-II and Analyst-I (Finance / Internal Audit / Tariff Analysis and Financial Modelling / Market Finance) – 05 Posts Combined

Minimum 4-year Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance from an HEC-recognized university, or ACCA (Partly Qualified — minimum F6 Taxation and F3 Financial Accounting passed), ACMA (Partly Qualified), or CA Articleship, or membership of a professional body of accountants.

• Analyst-II: Age up to 30 years; minimum 2 years of post-qualification relevant experience.
• Analyst-I: Age up to 28 years; candidates with relevant experience preferred.

15–16. Analyst-II and Analyst-I (HR) – 02 Posts Combined

Minimum 4-year Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business/Public Administration (with HR specialization) or HRM from an HEC-recognized university.

• Analyst-II: Age up to 30 years; minimum 2 years of post-qualification relevant experience.
• Analyst-I: Age up to 28 years; candidates with relevant experience preferred.

17–18. Analyst-II and Analyst-I (Legal) – 02 Posts Combined

Minimum Bachelor's degree in Law from an HEC-recognized university.

• Analyst-II: Age up to 30 years; minimum 2 years of post-qualification relevant experience.
• Analyst-I: Age up to 28 years; candidates with relevant experience preferred.

19–20. Analyst-II and Analyst-I (IT) – 03 Posts Combined

Minimum 4-year Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Engineering from an HEC-recognized university.

21–22. Analyst-II and Analyst-I (Corporate Communication) – 01 Post Combined

Minimum 4-year Bachelor's or Master's degree in Media Studies, Media & Communication Studies, Media Science, Computer Arts, or Mass Communication from an HEC-recognized university.

• Analyst-II: Age up to 30 years; minimum 2 years of post-qualification relevant experience.
• Analyst-I: Age up to 28 years; candidates with relevant experience preferred.

23–24. Analyst-II and Analyst-I (Corporate Affairs) – 02 Posts Combined

Minimum 4-year Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, HR, Economics, Commerce, or Law from an HEC-recognized university, or ACCA (Partly Qualified), ACMA (Partly Qualified), CAF, CMA Inter, or membership of a professional body of accountants.

• Analyst-II: Age up to 30 years; minimum 2 years of post-qualification relevant experience.
• Analyst-I: Age up to 28 years; candidates with relevant experience preferred.

25. Executive Assistant – 03 Posts

Minimum 4-year Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business/Public Administration or Social Sciences from an HEC-recognized university. Age up to 28 years; candidates with relevant experience preferred.

26. Medical Officer – 01 Post

Minimum MBBS degree with valid PMDC registration. Age up to 28 years; candidates with relevant experience preferred.
