The Ministry of Defence Production's Project Management Cell (PMC) for the Gwadar Shipyard has announced 6 contract-based vacancies in Rawalpindi — CFO/Accounts Officer, Private Secretary, Assistant, Driver, Naib Qasid, and Sanitary Worker/Sweeper — for an initial one-year period, extendable on performance. Eligible candidates must meet post-specific qualifications ranging from Primary pass for support roles to a Master's degree (preferably CA) for CFO/Accounts Officer, with a maximum age of 50 years (5-year relaxation already included) and preference given to local candidates for PPS-1 positions. Interested candidates should apply online through njp.gov.pk, or forward their application with photos, CV, CNIC copy, and experience certificates to the Manager HR, PMC (Gwadar Shipyard), Rawalpindi, within 15 days of publication.

About the Organization

Applications are invited from Pakistani nationals for the following posts on a contract basis, for an initial period of one year, extendable on a performance basis, in the government-approved development project titled "Establishment of Project Management Cell (PMC) for Creation of Shipyard at Gwadar," sponsored by the Ministry of Defence Production.

Eligibility Criteria

1. CFO/Accounts Officer (PPS-07): Master's degree in Finance/Accounting (preferably CA), with at least 10 years' progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of a large corporation. Preference given to candidates with CA/CPA/CMA designations, advanced Microsoft Office and ERP proficiency, and familiarity with Public Finance Management and General Financial Rules.

2. Private Secretary (PPS-06): Bachelor's degree with a minimum shorthand speed of 100 WPM and typing speed of 50 WPM. At least 2 years' experience as a Steno typist with supervisory officers; well-versed with MS Office and Inpage.

3. Assistant (PPS-05): BA/BSc with an IT diploma and typing speed of at least 35 WPM. Minimum 3 years' relevant job experience, preferably in the public sector.

4. Driver (PPS-01): Primary pass with a valid LTV driving license and knowledge of traffic rules. Minimum 2 years' driving experience.

5. Naib Qasid (PPS-01): Matric pass, with relevant experience (preferably in the public sector) and the ability to read and write in English.

6. Sanitary Worker/Sweeper (PPS-01): Primary pass, with relevant experience (preferably in the public sector) and familiarity with quality cleaning/hygiene products.

General Instructions

• Employment shall be made in accordance with MoPD&SI letter No. 14(7)/PIA-I/PC/2021 dated March 5, 2026.
• Appointment will be made on the Standard Pay Package of the PSDP Project.
• A 5-year age relaxation is already included, as per Government rules.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be considered for test/interview; no TA/DA will be admissible.
• Test/interviews will be held at Rawalpindi.
• Preference will be given to local candidates applying for PPS-1 positions.
