Sindh Prisons & Corrections Service has announced 20 vacancies in Karachi, comprising 5 posts for Head Wireless Operator and 15 posts for Prison Head Constable Driver, both at BS-09. Eligible candidates must hold a Sindh domicile, possess at least an Intermediate qualification with "C" grade from a recognized board, and meet the specified height and chest measurement standards, while driver candidates must additionally hold a valid LTV driving license with 3 years of driving experience. Interested candidates can apply online through the Pakistan Testing Service (PTS) website (www.pts.org.pk) by depositing a Rs. 1,600 registration fee at any HBL branch and uploading the paid deposit slip along with their application before the closing date of September 11, 2026.

About the Organization

The Inspectorate General Sindh Prisons & Corrections Service, headquartered at Pirillahi Buksh Road, Muslimabad, Karachi, has released HR notification No. 19686 inviting online applications from Sindh domicile holders for two support-staff positions within the department.

Domicile Requirement

Only candidates holding a valid Sindh Province domicile are eligible to apply.

Selection Process

1. Online application submission and fee verification
2. Physical measurement test
3. Written examination conducted by Pakistan Testing Service (PTS) — only physically qualified candidates proceed to this stage
4. Interview and document verification
5. Medical fitness examination at a government-authorized hospital

Test schedules, venues, and interview call letters will be communicated separately through SMS and the PTS website. No conveyance/daily allowance (TA/DA) is admissible for any stage of testing.

How to Apply

Eligible candidates should apply online through the PTS portal at www.pts.org.pk by following these steps:

1. Deposit a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 1,600 at any HBL branch nationwide using the fee deposit slip generated from the PTS website.
2. Upload a clear scanned copy of the paid HBL deposit slip while completing the online application form through the PTS Data Entry Portal.
3. Ensure the deposit slip displays a visible bank stamp or electronic signature/receipt, with all text clearly legible — blurred or incomplete images will be rejected.
4. Submit the completed application and supporting documents before the closing date of September 11, 2026.

Important: Physical/courier submissions are not accepted at this stage. Applications are only processed once a valid fee deposit proof is received through the online portal.

Important Notes for Applicants

• Original document verification will occur only at the interview stage; any false declaration results in automatic disqualification.
• Currently serving government employees may apply through the proper departmental channel.
• Incomplete applications or those submitted after the deadline will not be entertained.
• The department reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of announced posts.
• Selected candidates will undergo training and are liable to be posted anywhere within Sindh.
• Final selection is subject to a medical fitness certificate from an authorized government hospital.
• A criminal record, fake documentation, or physical disability will result in disqualification.
• No relaxation in the upper age limit is allowed, and minority quota will be observed as per Government of Sindh policy.
