PIFTAC Jobs 2026 – Provincial Intelligence Fusion & Threat Assessment Center, Punjab Home Department
The Provincial Intelligence Fusion & Threat Assessment Center (PIFTAC), Home Department, Government of the Punjab, has announced a large-scale recruitment drive across 43 position categories, including technology and IT roles such as Chief Technology Officer, Deputy/Assistant Directors in Software Development, Cyber Security, Networks, AI, and Database; intelligence and counter-terrorism roles covering In-Land/External Terrorist Organizations, Militant Organizations, OSINT, Counter Terrorism, and Counter Violent Extremism; legal roles; inspection and liaison positions reserved for retired Army officers; and administrative/support roles including HR & Admin, Account/Junior Clerk, Mess In-charge, Administrative Assistants, and Drivers, all on a market-based lump sum pay package under a contract basis. Eligibility Highlights by Category
- Technology/IT Roles (CTO, Deputy/Assistant Directors – Software, Networks, Cyber Security, AI, Database, Front-end, QA, Graphic Designer, Helpdesk Assistant): Require 16 years of education (2nd division or equivalent CGPA) in Computer Science, IT, Software/Electrical/Telecommunication Engineering, Data Sciences, AI, Cyber Security, Information Security, or related fields from an HEC-recognized university, with post-qualification experience ranging from 3 to 15 years depending on seniority (e.g., CTO requires minimum 15 years including 5 years in a leadership position; Assistant Director roles typically require 3-4 years).
- Intelligence/Counter-Terrorism Roles (Deputy/Assistant Directors – ITO, ETO, Militant Organization, Illegal Spectrum, OSINT, Counter Terrorism, Analysis & Response Integration, Counter Finance Terrorism, Counter Violent Extremism): Require 16 years of education (2nd division or equivalent CGPA) in Strategic Studies, Criminology, Peace & Conflict Studies, Political Science, Counter Terrorism, International Relations, or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university, with 4 to 10 years of relevant field experience, preferably from Armed Forces, ISI, MI, IB, Special Branch, CTD, FIA, or other Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs).
- Legal Roles (Deputy/Assistant Director – Legal): Require 16 years of education in Law/LLB (2nd division or equivalent CGPA) from an HEC-recognized university, with 5 to 10 years of experience in Counter Terrorism/Counter Finance Terrorism/Criminal Law/International Laws/Cyber Laws/Human Rights Laws.
- Inspection & Liaison Team (Deputy/Assistant Director): Require retired Army Officers — not below the rank of Lt. Col for Deputy Director, or not below the rank of Major for Assistant Director — with Staff Course (PSC) or MCC qualification and at least 5 years of experience in operational command/staff duties or operational appointments.
- HR & Admin (Assistant Director HR & Admin): Requires 16 years of education in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent from a recognized institution, with 5 years of experience in Public or Private Sector Accounts, Finance, and Budgetary/Administrative matters.
- Account/Junior Clerk: Intermediate (2nd division) with a 3-month diploma in MS Office from a recognized institute, or ICS/I.Com/D.Com (2nd division), with a typing speed of 40 words per minute in English on computer; retired personnel from Armed Forces/LEAs preferred.
- Mess In-charge & Administrative Assistants (Protocol, Motor Transport, Signals & Communication): Matriculation/Intermediate or equivalent from a recognized board; retired Junior Commissioned Officer/Non-Commissioned Officer of the Armed Forces (not below the rank of Naik/Havaldar or equivalent) qualified in a Unit Educational Instructor Course, with 20 years of relevant field experience (for Administrative Assistant posts).
- Driver: Middle Pass, with a valid LTV driving license and 5 years of LTV driving experience.
Terms & Conditions

iv. Applicants holding a foreign degree will need to submit the equivalence certificate issued by HEC, Islamabad.
v. Appointment shall be strictly governed under the Contract Appointment Policy, 2004, and the Recruitment Policy, 2022, as amended from time to time.
vi. Candidates shall be shortlisted according to the prescribed eligibility criteria.
vii. A merit list will be prepared strictly in accordance with the Recruitment Policy, 2022, as applicable on the final date of receipt of online applications.
viii. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews.
ix. Candidates holding valid domicile of Punjab Province are eligible to apply for the above-mentioned posts.
x. The advertised positions are purely on a contract basis, extendable subject to satisfactory performance and as per the terms and conditions of the contract.
xi. A No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the relevant Competent Authority is mandatory for Govt./Semi-Govt. employees applying for these posts.
