Secretary ETPB Jobs 2026 – Ministry of Religious Affairs & Interfaith Harmony
The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Government of Pakistan, intends to appoint the Secretary, Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) on a contract basis. Applications are invited from qualified professionals/experts who fulfill the prescribed criteria.

About ETPB
The Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) is a statutory body working under the administrative control of the Ministry of Religious Affairs & Interfaith Harmony. Its main function is the management and disposal of evacuee trust properties attached to charitable, religious, or educational trusts or institutions.

Qualification Criteria
Candidates must meet one of the following:
(a) Second class Master's degree or equivalent qualification, recognized by HEC, in a discipline relating to Business Administration, Public Administration, or Social Sciences, preferably with 5 years' experience in the relevant field.
OR
(b) Bachelor's degree in Law from an accredited foreign or local university recognized by HEC, preferably with 5 years' experience in Business Administration, Public Administration, Asset Management, or Law.
AND
(c) Out of the 5 years' relevant experience prescribed above, the candidate must have at least 3 years' experience pertaining to the administration and functioning of a body corporate or a public body.
Eligibility Criteria
No person shall be eligible for appointment as Secretary unless he:
- Is a citizen of Pakistan.
- Has not been declared a defaulter by a court of law in respect of repayment of a loan.
- Has not been declared undischarged insolvent by a court of law.
- Has not been convicted by a court of law for an offence involving moral turpitude.
- Is neither less than 40 nor more than 60 years of age on the closing date fixed for receipt of applications.
- Possesses unimpeachable reputation, financial integrity, judicious devotion, and moral propriety.
Terms & Conditions for Appointment
- The Secretary shall be entitled to pay, allowances, privileges, and other terms of service admissible to government servants appointed in BPS-19 on contract.
- A special ETPB allowance of up to one and a half times basic pay may be admissible, subject to ToRs/criteria set by the ETP Board.
- Appointment shall be made on contract basis, on the recommendation of the Performance Evaluation and Selection Committee.
- The Secretary shall hold office for a term of 3 years, extendable by 2 years on the committee's recommendation.
- Unless extended, or upon attaining the age of 65 years (whichever is earlier), the Secretary shall cease to hold office.
Procedure for Submission of Application

- Enclose a detailed Curriculum Vitae, attested copies of CNIC, all degrees/testimonials showing date of birth, and two photographs.
- Applications must be submitted within 15 days of the advertisement's publication.
- Incomplete applications will not be entertained.
- Only short-listed candidates fulfilling the laid-down criteria will be called for interview by the Performance Evaluation and Selection Committee.
- No TA/DA will be admissible.
