Key Responsibilities

• Identify and onboard new SME clients to expand the bank's SME lending portfolio.
• Design and implement a client acquisition strategy aligned with the bank's broader objectives.
• Promote the bank's financing products, including working capital, trade finance, and term loans.
• Maintain and strengthen existing client relationships to support portfolio retention and growth.
• Regularly assess clients' financial health and performance to spot risks and opportunities.
• Conduct periodic client visits and provide updates on portfolio performance.
• Analyze SME clients' financial statements and business models to evaluate creditworthiness.
• Structure financing solutions tailored to individual client needs and prepare compliant credit proposals.
• Ensure credit facilities remain within the bank's approved risk appetite.
• Monitor accounts for early warning signs and take proactive risk-mitigation measures.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with the bank's internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to deliver seamless client service.
• Achieve assigned financial and non-financial targets, including revenue growth, portfolio expansion, and client satisfaction.
• Support the bank's overall strategic goals by meeting defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Undertake any additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.

Required Knowledge & Competencies

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and consistently meet targets.
• Working knowledge of banking products and services, with exposure to Commercial and SME Banking.
• Strong familiarity with the geography and business landscape of the assigned area.
• Sound understanding of SBP Prudential Regulations and other regulatory requirements related to Commercial and SME lending.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and client relationship management skills.
• Strong sales orientation with the ability to identify business opportunities and achieve targets.
• Solid grasp of Credit Lending, SME Financing, and Trade Finance concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
