About the Organization

With the approval of the Competent Authority, the Office of the Chairperson, Management Board/Medical Superintendent, Sindh Government Lyari General Hospital, Karachi, has invited applications from eligible and suitable candidates for several regular, sanctioned, and budgeted support-staff posts at the hospital, located at Tannery Road, Lyari, Karachi.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Driver – BPS-4

• Possession of a valid LTV/HTV driving license. Must be able to maintain the log book. At least 3 years’ experience as a driver.

2. Electrician – BPS-4

• Matric + 3 years of experience in the relevant field/Diploma.

4. Lift Operator – BPS-4

• Primary Pass + 3 years of experience in lift operation (mandatory).

5. Nursing Orderly – BPS-4

• Middle Pass with an experience certificate.

6. Pump Driver – BPS-4

• Primary Pass + 3 years’ experience as a Pump Operator/Pump Driver.

7. Dark Room Assistant – BPS-3

• Primary Pass; preference for candidates with experience in the relevant field.

8. Dark Room Attendant – BPS-3

• Middle Pass; preference for candidates with experience in the relevant field.

9. Laboratory Attendant – BPS-3

• Primary Pass; preference for candidates with experience in the relevant field.

10. O.T Attendant – BPS-3

• Primary Pass; preference for candidates with a job training certificate/experience in the relevant field.

11. X-Ray Attendant – BPS-3

• Primary Pass; preference for candidates with experience in the relevant field.

12. Aya/Dai – BPS-2

• Primary Pass; preference for candidates with experience in the relevant field.

13. Dental Attendant – BPS-2

• Primary Pass; preference for candidates with experience in the relevant field.

• Primary Pass + experience will be a preference.

• Primary Pass + 2 years of experience in the relevant field.

Terms & Conditions

• A general relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit is admissible, per Notification No. SOII(SGA&CD)5-64/2011(Part-II), dated 06.03.2025, issued by the Services General Administration & Coordination Department (SGA&CD), Government of Sindh.
• Quotas for women, minorities, persons with disabilities, and transgender persons shall be observed in accordance with applicable Government rules and policy.
• Candidates already employed in Government service must apply through the proper channel and submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) where applicable.
• Canvassing, directly or indirectly, in any form, shall result in disqualification.
• Candidates who have been dismissed, removed, or terminated from service, or whose previous employment record establishes misconduct, professional negligence, or other disqualifying conduct, may be disqualified in accordance with applicable rules.
