The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), under the Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control, has announced a career opportunity for the position of Deputy Assistant Director (Technical). The appointment will be made on a contract basis for the Quetta Region, including Barkhan, Sibbi, Zhob, Chaghi and Pishin.

Candidates must possess a 4-year Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or an equivalent discipline from an HEC-recognized university. A Master's degree in a relevant field will be preferred. Applicants should have at least one year of post-qualification experience in IT infrastructure, communication systems and computer networks. Certifications such as CCNA, Cyber Security and Active Directory will be an added advantage.

The selected candidate will be responsible for server and client administration, network troubleshooting, endpoint security, technical support, system monitoring, patch management, firewall and VPN configuration, Active Directory administration, infrastructure maintenance, SLA compliance and IT security support. The maximum age limit is 30 years, with 5 years of age relaxation already included.

The selected candidate will be hired on a contract basis with an initial 6-month probation period, extendable if required. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for the test or interview. The last date to submit online applications is 23 August 2026.
