National Council for Homoeopathy Jobs 2026 – 5 Regular Vacancies in Rawalpindi

The National Council for Homoeopathy (NCH), Government of Pakistan, has announced 5 regular (non-pensionable/CPF) vacancies in Rawalpindi: Assistant (BPS-15), Steno Typist (BPS-14), Lower Division Clerk (BPS-11), Machine Operator (BPS-05), and Driver (BPS-04). Four posts are open merit for all of Pakistan, while the Driver post is restricted to Punjab domicile. Requirements range from Matric with typing skills to a Graduate degree with computer knowledge, and the Driver post requires a valid LTV license. The age limit for all posts is 18–25 years, with a 5-year general relaxation already included. Selected candidates for the Assistant, Steno Typist, and LDC posts must complete a mandatory NITB course within their first year of probation. Applicants should download the prescribed form from www.nchpakistan.gov.pk, attach the required documents and two photographs, and send it to the Secretary/Registrar, NCH, Fazal Town (Phase-I), Airport Link Road, Rawalpindi, within 15 days of the advertisement's publication. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview, and no TA/DA is admissible.

About the Organization

The National Council for Homoeopathy (NCH) is a Body Corporate established under Section 3 of the Unani, Ayurvedic and Homoeopathic Practitioners Act, 1965 (II of 1965). It has invited applications from Pakistani nationals (male/female) for appointment to five vacant posts on a regular basis (non-pensionable/Contributory Provident Fund basis), in accordance with the NCH Staff Service Regulations, 1987.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Assistant (BPS-15) – 01 Post

• Education: Graduate from a recognized university.
• Skills: Knowledge of computers, including MS Office.
• Age limit: 18–25 years, plus 5 years general relaxation.
• Domicile/Quota: Open Merit (All Pakistan).

2. Steno Typist (BPS-14) – 01 Post

• Education: Intermediate.
• Skills: Shorthand at 80 words per minute, typing at 40 words per minute. Must be computer literate.
• Age limit: 18–25 years, plus 5 years general relaxation.
• Domicile/Quota: Open Merit (All Pakistan).

3. Lower Division Clerk (LDC) (BPS-11) – 01 Post

• Education: Matric.
• Skills: Typing speed of 30 words per minute, computer knowledge.
• Age limit: 18–25 years, plus 5 years general relaxation.
• Domicile/Quota: Open Merit (All Pakistan).

4. Machine Operator (BPS-05) – 01 Post

• Skills: Knowledge of operating a duplicating machine/photocopier is essential.
• Age limit: 18–25 years, plus 5 years general relaxation.
• Domicile/Quota: Open Merit.

5. Driver (BPS-04) – 01 Post

• Requirement: Qualified driver, holding a valid light transport vehicle (LTV) driving license.
• Age limit: 18–25 years, plus 5 years general relaxation.
• Domicile/Quota: Punjab.

Terms & Conditions

• Appointments will be made on a regular basis, in accordance with the NCH Staff Service Regulations, 1987.
• Age will be calculated on the closing date. The 5-year general relaxation is already included; further relaxation follows Federal Government rules.
• Government servants should apply through the proper channel, with an NOC.
• The post applied for must be clearly mentioned on the top right corner of the envelope.
• Original documents must be produced at the time of test/interview. Incomplete applications and those received after the due date will not be entertained.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview. A skill test will be conducted where required.
• No TA/DA will be admissible.
• The Competent Authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts, or to change, cancel, or postpone the recruitment process at any stage.
• Successful candidates against the posts at Sr. No. 1, 2, and 3 (Assistant, Steno Typist, and LDC) must complete a mandatory NITB course during their one-year probation period.
