The Office of the Project Director-cum-Project Engineer, Establishment of Pediatric Cardiology Unit at NICVD Karachi, has announced 8 contract-based vacancies for its Project Implementation Unit: Assistant Engineer/Assistant Project Engineer (BPS-17), 2 Office Assistant/Computer Operator (BPS-12), 2 Drivers (BPS-05), a Dispatch Rider (BPS-04), and 2 Naib Qasid (BPS-02). All posts require Sindh domicile and run on contract until 30 June 2028 or project completion, whichever is earlier. Requirements range from literacy for support staff to a B.E in Civil Engineering with 5 years of hospital mega-project experience for the engineering post. Applicants should submit their application, updated CV, CNIC photocopies, and relevant documents through courier or by hand to the Project Director's office, Ground Floor, Nursing Hostel, NICVD Karachi, by 14 October 2026. No TA/DA will be allowed, and interview letters will be sent only to shortlisted candidates.

About the Organization

The Office of the Project Director-cum-Project Engineer is recruiting for the Project Implementation Unit of the ADP scheme "Establishment of Pediatric Cardiology Unit at NICVD Karachi." All posts are offered on a contract basis, running up to 30 June 2028 or until the project is completed, whichever comes first.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Assistant Engineer / Assistant Project Engineer – BPS-17 – 01 Post

• Education: B.E in Civil Engineering from an HEC-recognized university or institute.
• Experience: At least 5 years in a relevant field, on a hospital mega project in a public-sector organization.
• Domicile: Sindh.

2. Office Assistant / Computer Operator – BPS-12 – 02 Posts

• Education: Intermediate or Matric with a Diploma in Information Technology.
• Experience: More than 3 to 5 years of working experience in a relevant field, with literacy and strong knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD.
• Domicile: Sindh.

3. Driver – BPS-05 – 02 Posts

• Requirement: Must hold an LTV (Light Transport Vehicle) driving license.
• Experience: More than 3 years of driving various types of light vehicles.
• Domicile: Sindh.

4. Dispatch Rider – BPS-04 – 01 Post

• Requirement: Literate, with a motorcycle driving license.
• Domicile: Sindh.

5. Naib Qasid – BPS-02 – 02 Posts

• Requirement: Literate.
• Domicile: Sindh.
