About the Organization

The Department of Tourist Services (DTS), Punjab, under the Tourism Archaeology and Museums Department, Government of the Punjab, is seeking qualified, young, and energetic individuals with domicile of Punjab to serve in the Punjab Tourism Force. All posts are offered on a contract basis for 3 years, extendable, but shall not be made permanent or regularized.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Tourism Inspector – 01 Post (Contract, 3 years)

• Education: 16 years of education (2nd Division/2.5 CGPA) from an HEC-recognized university.
• Physical standards: Height 5'6" (Male), 5'2" (Female); Chest 33–34½ inches (Male); Eye vision 6/6.
• Experience: 3 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field.
• Age limit: 25–30 years.

2. Tourism Sub-Inspector – 04 Posts (Contract, 3 years)

• Education: 16 years of education (2nd Division/2.5 CGPA) from an HEC-recognized university.
• Physical standards: Height 5'6" (Male), 5'2" (Female); Chest 33–34½ inches (Male); Eye vision 6/6.
• Experience: Experience in the relevant field may be preferred.
• Age limit: 22–27 years.

3. Tourism Constable – 32 Posts (Contract, 3 years)

• Education: Higher Secondary School Certificate (2nd Division) from a recognized Board.
• Physical standards: Height 5'6" (Male), 5'2" (Female); Chest 33–34½ inches (Male); Eye vision 6/6.
• Experience: Experience in the relevant field may be preferred.
• Age limit: 22–29 years.

4. Accounts Officer – 01 Post (Contract, 3 years)

• Education: 16 years of education (2nd Division/2.5 CGPA) in Accounts & Finance or a related discipline, from an HEC-recognized university.
• Experience: 2 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field.
• Age limit: 25–30 years.

5. Cashier – 01 Post (Contract, 3 years)

• Education: Bachelor's degree (2nd Division/2.5 CGPA) in Commerce, Accounts, Finance, or a related discipline, from an HEC-recognized university.
• Experience: 2 years of experience in the relevant field.
• Age limit: 24–29 years.

Pay Package

All posts carry a lump sum pay package with a 10% annual increase:

• Tourism Inspector: Rs. 80,000 + 10% annual increase
• Tourism Sub-Inspector: Rs. 70,000 + 10% annual increase
• Tourism Constable: Rs. 60,000 + 10% annual increase
• Accounts Officer: Rs. 80,000 + 10% annual increase
• Cashier: Rs. 70,000 + 10% annual increase

Medical Certificate Instructions (Tourism Inspector, Sub-Inspector & Constable Only)

Candidates applying for these three posts must obtain a Medical Certificate mentioning all physical measurements, issued on or before the closing date, duly signed and stamped by the Medical Superintendent of the concerned District Headquarter Hospital, or from Mian Munshi Hospital, Lahore. The same physical standards must be entered in the online application form as per the medical certificate.

General Conditions

• General age relaxation will be applicable as per Notification No. SORI(S&GAD)9-36/81, dated 08.08.2016.
• Incomplete or late submission of applications shall not be entertained.

• Candidates with proficiency in English language and computer skills will be preferred.

• Only practical experience shall be considered after the prescribed qualification.
• No TA/DA will be admissible during the recruitment process.
• The Competent Authority may increase or decrease the number of vacancies.
