The Office of the Deputy Commissioner (South), Karachi has announced 22 vacancies from BS-01 to BS-04, open only to candidates with Domicile of District South: 1 Driver (BPS-4), 2 Cooks, 2 Daftris, 3 Dispatch Riders, 6 Naib Qasids (all BPS-2), 5 Sanitary Workers, and 3 Chowkidars (BPS-1). The Driver and Dispatch Rider posts require Primary/Middle Pass with a valid LTV/HTV or motorcycle driving license; other posts require Primary Pass or literacy. The age limit for all posts is 18 to 28 years, with 5 years of general relaxation admissible as per Government of Sindh policy, and quotas reserved for women, minorities, differently-abled, and transgender persons. All appointments are purely temporary under the Sindh Service Rules, 1973, including the prescribed probation period. Applicants should submit their application with two photographs and attested documents to the DC Complex South, M.A. Jinnah Road, near Gul Plaza, Karachi, within 15 days of the advertisement's publication. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview, and no TA/DA is admissible.

4. Dispatch Rider – BPS-2 – 03 Posts

• Education: Primary/Middle Pass.
• Requirement: Valid LTV/motorcycle driving license.
• Age limit: 18–28 years.

5. Naib Qasid – BPS-2 – 06 Posts

• Education: Primary Pass/Literate.
• Age limit: 18–28 years.

6. Sanitary Worker – BPS-1 – 05 Posts

• Education: Primary Pass/Literate.
• Age limit: 18–28 years.

7. Chowkidar – BPS-1 – 03 Posts

• Education: Primary Pass/Literate.
• Age limit: 18–28 years.

Terms & Conditions

• General relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit is admissible as per Government policy, vide Notification No. SOII(SGA&CD)5-64/2011 (Part-II), dated 06.03.2025, issued by the Services, General Administration & Coordination Department, Government of Sindh.
• Quotas for women, minorities, differently-abled persons, and transgender persons shall be reserved in accordance with Government rules/policy in vogue.
• Candidates already in Government service must apply through the proper channel.
• Only eligible and shortlisted candidates shall be called for the test/interview.
• Canvassing in any form or manner shall result in immediate disqualification.
• The number of vacancies may be increased or decreased at the discretion of the Competent Authority; no candidate has the right to challenge this.
• All appointments are purely temporary and subject to the applicable provisions of the Sindh Service (Appointment, Promotion & Transfer) Rules, 1973, including the prescribed probation period.
• No TA/DA shall be admissible to candidates appearing for the test/interview.
