About the Organization

Energy Infrastructure Development and Management Company (EIDMC) is a public-sector company established to develop and manage energy infrastructure projects. The company is actively seeking applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the following positions.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Director (Procurement)

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Civil/Mechanical) or Supply Chain/Business Administration from a recognized university. Preference given to candidates holding professional certification such as CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply), CSCP, or equivalent, PMP or CIPM, and formal training/certification in public/donor-funded procurement rules.

Experience: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in procurement and contract management; preference given to candidates with at least 3 years' experience in the power sector.

2. Deputy Director (Project Planning & Business Strategy)

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Civil/Mechanical)/Business Administration/Project Management from a recognized university. Preference given to candidates possessing a Master's degree in Project Management/Business Administration along with related professional certifications.

Experience: Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in project management; preference given to candidates with experience in project planning, preparation of planning commission documents, EPC contracts, PPP, and joint ventures.

3. Deputy Director (Project Finance & Budgeting)

Qualification: Bachelor's degree (16 years of education) in Accounting/Finance/Commerce from a recognized university, OR member of a recognized body of professional accountants. Preference given to candidates possessing a Master's degree in Finance/Accounting.

Experience: Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in financial accounting and budgeting, ERP, project financing, treasury management, or financial modeling and reporting.

4. Deputy Director (Civil)

Qualification: Bachelor's degree (16 years of education) in Civil Engineering from a recognized university. Preference given to candidates possessing a Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, along with professional certification in Project Management (PMP)/NEBOSH or IOSH safety certifications.

Experience: Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in civil infrastructure projects; preference given to candidates with experience managing multi-contractor civil construction programs and knowledge of construction standards, codes, and specifications in energy infrastructure projects.

5. Deputy Director (HSE/ESG)

Qualification: Bachelor's degree (16 years of education) in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Civil Engineering, Energy and Environmental Engineering from a recognized university. Preference given to candidates possessing a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering/Environmental Management/Occupational Health & Safety, or professional certifications in NEBOSH/ISO 45001 Lead Auditor/ISO 14001 Environmental Management.

Experience: Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in HSE/ESG; preference given to candidates with experience on energy infrastructure projects.

6. Deputy Director (Quality & Technical Assurance)

Qualification: Bachelor's degree (16 years of education) in Electrical/Civil/Mechanical/Electronics/Industrial/Energy Management from a recognized university. Preference given to candidates possessing a Master's degree in Engineering Management/Quality Management, or relevant certification such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor/Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).

Experience: Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in Quality and Technical Assurance; preference given to candidates with experience on infrastructure/power/utility, or industrial projects.

7. Deputy Director (Project Delivery)

Qualification: Bachelor's degree (16 years of education) in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial/Civil Engineering from a recognized university. Preference given to candidates possessing a Master's degree in Engineering Management/Project Management.

Experience: Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience delivering infrastructure projects; preference given to candidates with experience coordinating engineering designs/procurement/EPC projects, construction/installation, testing, commissioning, and project close-out activities.

8. Deputy Director (Legal)

Education: Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a recognized university. Preference given to candidates possessing Master of Laws (LLM) in Corporate Law/Contract Law or related specialization; accreditation in arbitration or dispute resolution will be an added advantage.

Experience: Minimum 8 years of post-qualification relevant experience in a reputable national/multinational organization; preference given to candidates with experience in contract law, commercial law, public procurement, EPC contracts, and regulatory proceedings.

9. Deputy Director (Monitoring & Evaluation)

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Civil/Mechanical) from a recognized university. Preference given to candidates possessing a Master's degree in Engineering/Business Administration.

Experience: Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in M&E of projects; preference given to candidates with experience developing and implementing M&E frameworks and preparation of PC-III, IV, and V documents.

Remuneration, Tenure and Age Limit

1. A market-based compensation package shall be determined through negotiations and will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience.
2. All positions will be filled purely on a contract basis, initially for a period of three years from the date of appointment, including a three-month probationary period.
3. The contract is further extendable subject to satisfactory performance and need basis.
4. The contract service shall neither be regularized nor pensionable.

• For engineering qualifications, candidates must be registered as Professional Engineers with the Pakistan Engineering Council; Pakistani professionals working abroad who are not currently registered as Professional Engineers (PE) with PEC are eligible to apply, but if selected, must obtain and submit valid PEC registration as a PE within the stipulated period to confirm eligibility.
