About the Organization

The Emergency Services Department, Government of the Punjab, operating as Rescue 1122, has invited applications for 239 temporary posts across its Headquarters, Emergency Services Academy, and District Lahore operations, under the slogan “Join Rescue 1122 to Save Lives.”

Eligibility Criteria

1. Emergency Officer (Medical) – PPS-07 – 05 Posts

• Education: MBBS with valid registration from PMDC or PMC.
• Age limit: 24–32 years.

2. Hostel Warden (Female) – PPS-05 – 01 Post

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or 14 years of education (BS/B.Sc) in Social Sciences, Psychology, or Management from an HEC-recognized university.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in hostel administration or public-sector management.
• Age limit: 24–35 years.

3. Assistant Hostel Warden (Female) – PPS-03 – 01 Post

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or 14 years of education (BS/B.Sc) in Social Sciences, Psychology, or Management from an HEC-recognized university.
• Experience: Relevant experience preferred.
• Age limit: 22–30 years.

4. Attendant (Female) – PPS-02 – 04 Posts

• Education: Matriculation with a Housekeeping Certificate.
• Experience: Relevant experience preferred.
• Age limit: 22–35 years.

5. Fire DERT Rescuer (FDR) – PPS-03 – 28 Posts

• Education: Diploma of Associate Engineering (Chemical, Electronics, Mining, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Telecommunication, or Architecture), 2nd Division, from a recognized institution.
• Age limit: 20–30 years.

6. Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) – PPS-03 – 92 Posts

• Education: Nursing or Paramedical Degree or Diploma (2nd Division) from a recognized Board, Council, or University.
• Age limit: 20–30 years.

7. Rescue Driver (LTV) – PPS-02 – 108 Posts

• Education: Secondary School Certificate (2nd Division) from a recognized board.
• Requirement: Valid LTV (Light Transport Vehicle) license.
• Age limit: 20–30 years.

Terms & Conditions

• Applications are invited for these posts on a temporary basis. These posts are non-transferable and confer no right to regularization.
• Candidates are directed to apply for only one suitable post; however, an appropriate candidate may be adjusted to another suitable post on the recommendation of the Recruitment Committee.
• The department may increase or decrease the number of posts, depending on availability.
• No relaxation in age or qualification is given (Army/Civil). However, existing employees of the Emergency Services Department shall be given 5 years of age relaxation in the upper age limit, only for administrative posts.
• Preference will be given to candidates with height more than 5'6", with a minimum chest size of 33".
• Local residents, as per CNIC, will be given preference.
• A 5% quota for minorities and a 15% quota for females are reserved. Transgender candidates can also apply.
• Candidates must justify their eligibility as per the advertised criteria, as all documents are accepted provisionally. The offer of appointment is subject to verification of documents, police verification, successful completion of training, and clearance by the medical board constituted by the Government of the Punjab.
• Salary will be given as per the Government Notification/Policy.
• Any person with vision less than 6/6 in each eye (without glasses), color blindness, obesity with a BMI of 30 or above, and Hepatitis B&C, HIV, or RPR positive status shall be shortlisted out at any stage.
• In case of a large number of applicants, only applications with preferred/enhanced criteria shall be considered.

Selection Procedure

• Written and psychological tests, physical tests, and skill tests shall be held at designated places.
• The list of qualifying candidates shall be displayed on the CTS and ESD websites after each stage of the process.
• The final interview shall be conducted at the Emergency Services Headquarters, Thokar Niaz Baig, Lahore.
• At the time of interview, candidates must submit a medical report issued by a Government Teaching Hospital or DHQ Hospital, covering physical examination (height, weight, chest, eyesight, and physical deformities) and laboratory tests for Hepatitis B&C, HIV, and RPR.
