About the Organization

The Local Government & HIP Department, Government of Sindh, has announced a fresh round of recruitment for eligible candidates holding a valid Sindh domicile and Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC). Vacancies are spread across the Sindh Civil Services and Local Government Academy (Tando Jam), Regional Directorate and Field Offices, the Provincial Local Government Commission (Karachi), and the Directorate of Town Planning under the Sindh Master Plan Authority.

General Conditions

• Applicants must hold a valid Sindh Province domicile and PRC.
• Candidates are required to have passed the General Screening Test (Graduation Category) conducted by the Sukkur IBA Testing Service (STS) with at least 40% marks and must possess the STS certificate at the time of application.
• Age will be calculated from the closing date of application submission as per Rule-7 of the Sindh Civil Servants (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 2024, with an additional 5-year relaxation permissible per the notification dated March 6, 2025.
• Quota-based appointments will follow existing Government of Sindh law, rules, and policy.
• Candidates already serving in government departments must obtain an NOC prior to application and produce the original at the time of interview.
• Appointments will be made under the Sindh Civil Servants Act, 1973, and the policy notified on April 26, 2023.
• Shortlisted applicants must appear before the Departmental Selection Committee with original documents as per the schedule uploaded on the job portal.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview.
