About the Organization

The Special Education Department, Government of the Punjab, intends to hire professional staff for the Maryam Nawaz School & Resource Centre for Autism, Lahore, on a contract basis, for 7 specialized positions supporting children with autism.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Occupational Therapist – 02 Posts

• Education: BS or MS in Occupational Therapy (Licensed/Registered), or Rehabilitation, from a university recognized by HEC.
• Experience: 5 years in Pediatric OT and practice with autism.
• Age limit: 25–40 years.

2. School Counsellor – 01 Post

• Education: BS in Applied Psychology, Behaviour Psychology, or Educational Psychology.
• Experience: 5 years in SEN (Special Educational Needs) counselling of children.
• Age limit: 25–40 years.

3. Life Skills Coach – 02 Posts

• Education: BS in OT or Rehabilitation Sciences.
• Experience: 5 years in life-skills coaching or rehabilitation.
• Age limit: 25–35 years.

4. Music Therapist – 01 Post

• Education: Graduate.
• Experience: 3 years in Instrumental + Vocal Music from a recognized organization.
• Age limit: 25–40 years.

5. Sensory Integration Therapist – 02 Posts

• Education: BS in OT, with specialization in Sensory Therapy, or Rehabilitation, from a university recognized by HEC (Licensed/Registered).
• Experience: 5 years providing Sensory Integration Therapy to neurodiverse children.
• Age limit: 25–35 years.

6. AAC Specialist – 01 Post

• Education: BS in Speech and Language Therapy/Pathology (Registered).
• Experience: 5 years with autistic children.
• Age limit: 25–35 years.

7. Receptionist – 02 Posts

• Education: BS in Public Relations, Social Science, or Sociology from a university recognized by HEC.
• Experience: 2 years of relevant experience in a reputed organization/firm.
• Age limit: 21–30 years.

Pay Package

Each post carries a fixed lump-sum monthly salary, ranging from Rs. 70,000 (Receptionist) to Rs. 2,20,000 (Occupational Therapist), as listed in the table above.

Terms & Conditions

• Appointments will be made on a contract basis, on a lump-sum salary/month, for a period of 3 years. Extension will be based on performance.
• Candidates already working in government, semi-government, or autonomous bodies may apply through the proper channel from their respective department, along with an NOC.
• Only shortlisted candidates fulfilling the above criteria will be called for interview.
• Candidates must produce original documents, along with a set of attested copies of all relevant documents and a photograph, at the time of interview.
• Age relaxation as per government policy has already been included in the age limit mentioned against each post. No further relaxation will be granted.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for interview.
