Pakistan Railways Jobs 2026 – Land Management Directorate, 89 Vacancies

Pakistan Railways has announced 89 contract-basis vacancies in its Directorate of Land Management, Headquarters Office, Lahore, spanning 20 categories including Manager Property and Land, Manager Legal, Manager GIS, Judicial Magistrate, Assistant Manager Commercial/Contract, Land Inspector, GIS Supervisor, Inspector Land Revenue/Anti-Encroachment/Licensing, Contract and Legal Assistants, and Revenue Assistant. Eligibility ranges from Matric with a Patwar Course for Revenue Assistant to Bachelor's/Master's degrees in Civil Engineering, Law, GIS, or Business Administration with 3 to 15 years of relevant experience for managerial and specialist roles, with a maximum age limit of 62 years for most posts (30 years for Revenue Assistant), and vacancies distributed across Merit, Punjab, Sindh (Urban/Rural), KPK, and Balochistan quotas. Interested candidates must apply through the Pakistan Railways Career Updates Tab on www.pakrail.gov.pk by September 12, 2026, and additionally submit a hard-copy application with a Rs. 1,500 postal order processing fee to the Chief Personnel Officer, Pakistan Railways, Lahore.

Candidates must apply as per their educational qualification, experience, and region (domicile), and may apply in more than one category if they meet the relevant criteria.

Instructions for Candidates

• Eligibility will be determined based on the applicant's qualification, relevant experience, and performance in the written test and interview (70% Written Test + 30% Interview).
• Candidates already serving in Railways or any other government department must apply through the proper channel, along with departmental NOC.
• Incomplete applications, or those carrying incorrect information, will be rejected. If any document provided by a candidate is found bogus during the recruitment process, the appointment will be treated as cancelled and legal action will be taken.
• Selected officials/officers may undergo training at Pakistan Railways Academy Walton or the Land Directorate, as deemed necessary.
• Selected candidates will be posted anywhere within the Pakistan Railways system.
• No TA/DA shall be admissible for test and interview.
• Selected candidates are required to pass the prescribed medical examination.

• Accommodation may be provided if desired, as per the priority list maintained with Railways.
• TA/DA will be allowed as admissible to other civil servants.
• Additional increments will be added to salaries based on years of experience in the respective field, and selected candidates will be entitled to annual increments at the equivalent pay scale.
• The contract period is for 2+1 year, extendable subject to satisfactory performance and approval of the competent authority.
• All facilities, including duty passes/privilege passes/PTOs and medical facilities from Railway hospitals, will be admissible as given to officers of equivalent scale, excluding pension/gratuity/GPF.

Important Notes

1. Pakistan Railways reserves the right to reject any application(s) or suspend/cancel the process without conveying any reason. It may alter the number and distribution of vacancies.
2. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.

4. Candidates must also attach a postal order worth Rs. 1,500 as processing fee for each application. The hard-form application, along with all required documents and experience letters, must reach the Chief Personnel Officer, Pakistan Railways, Headquarters Office, Empress Road, Lahore, well in time. No application shall be considered without the processing fee (postal order).
