CEMB Punjab University Jobs 2026 – Professor & Assistant Professor, Molecular Biology (4 Posts)

The Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB), University of the Punjab, Lahore, invites applications from Pakistani nationals for faculty appointment under the Basic Pay Scale (BPS) or Tenure Track System (TTS), in the subject of Molecular Biology. A total of 4 posts are available: 1 Professor and 3 Assistant Professors.

About CEMB

The Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB) is a research institute affiliated with the University of the Punjab, Lahore, specializing in molecular biology research including stem cells, virology, forensics, genetic screening, and plant genetic modification.

Terms & Conditions

1. Foreign degree holders must provide an equivalence certificate issued by HEC.
2. All rules in letter and spirit of TTS version 2.0 and BPS are applicable.
3. Candidates must submit one hard copy of the application on the prescribed form, along with a complete set of testimonials/research work/publications/photograph (1×1)/certificate of distinction, etc. A soft copy, combining the application and all supporting testimonials, must be submitted as a single PDF file via email to admin@cemb.edu.pk.
4. All attached academic degrees and certificates must be duly attested by HEC/IBCC.
5. Candidates must submit a crossed bank draft/pay order: Rs. 5,000/- for Professor, Rs. 3,000/- for Assistant Professor (drawn in favor of the Director, CEMB, Lahore).
6. The prescribed application form is available at the Centre's website: www.cemb.edu.pk
7. Candidates applying under both systems (BPS and TTS) must submit separate applications, each with complete documents and the required bank draft/pay order.
8. Only short-listed candidates will be called for interview.
9. Candidates already in service should apply through the proper channel by the due date; incomplete applications, or those received after the due date, will not be entertained.
10. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test and/or interview.
11. The Centre reserves the right not to fill/withdraw any post or withhold appointment against any advertised post without assigning any reason.
12. Last date for submission of applications: 07.09.2026, during office time.
