Khairpur Medical College, Khairpur Mir's, has announced a large number of contract-based (1-year, extendable) teaching faculty vacancies across Basic Sciences (Physiology, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine, Microbiology, Hematology, Community Medicine, etc.) and Clinical Sciences (Ophthalmology, ENT, Surgery, Medicine, Cardiology, Neurosurgery, and many other specialties) at the ranks of Professor (BS-21), Associate Professor (BS-20), Assistant Professor (BS-19), Medical Education faculty, and Senior Registrar (BS-19). Eligibility requires MBBS with PM&DC-recognized postgraduate qualifications (FCPS/MD/MS/PhD or equivalent) along with specified years of teaching/clinical experience and research publications depending on rank, and candidates must hold Sindh domicile with age limits ranging from 25 to 62 years across different ranks. Interested candidates should download the application form from www.khprkmc.edu.pk and submit it, along with a Rs. 5,000 demand draft/pay order per post and required documents, via courier to the Principal's office by the closing date of September 30, 2026.

About the Organization

Khairpur Medical College, Station Road, Khairpur Mir's, Sindh, has invited applications from qualified and eligible candidates holding Sindh Province domicile, for appointment purely on contract for a period of one year, for the following teaching faculty positions.

Qualification/Experience: MBBS, FCPS/MD/MS or other equivalent Level-III qualification in the specialty, recognized/registered by PM&DC.

Terms & Conditions

• Recruitment will be purely on a contract basis for a period of 1 year, extendable upon satisfactory performance and subject to approval of the competent authority.
• All vacancies will be filled purely on merit basis.
• Appointments will not be considered as a case of regularization and seniority; any decision of the competent authority will not be challenged in any court of law.
• Candidates having domicile of Sindh will be eligible to apply.
• Eligibility criteria for teaching positions shall be as per PM&DC Regulations; age criteria will be according to PM&DC regulations and Government of Sindh rules.
• Candidates working in Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous/Semi-autonomous bodies should apply through the proper channel with departmental permission (NOC).
• Women quota, Minority quota, Transgender quota, and quota for Differently Abled Persons shall be observed as per the applicable policy/rules of the Government of Sindh.
• The last date for submission of applications is September 30, 2026.
• Applications, along with all requisite academic documents and domicile, shall be submitted through courier to the office of the Principal, Khairpur Medical College, Khairpur Mir's.
• The Competent Authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of advertised posts, and to withdraw, cancel, or withhold the entire recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview; no TA/DA shall be admissible for appearing in the interview.
• All academic and professional credentials/documents of selected candidates shall be subject to verification; the appointment remains subject to satisfactory verification. If any document is found fake, forged, invalid, or tampered with, the appointment shall be cancelled/terminated, and the candidate shall face appropriate action under relevant rules and law.
• The recruitment process for regular appointment against subject posts is also under process through the Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC); if candidates are recommended by SPSC and appointed on a regular basis against any of these posts, the contractual appointment of the concerned appointee shall automatically stand terminated from the date of regular appointment through SPSC, without further notice or claim for continuation of the contractual appointment.
