Mines Labour Welfare STI Jobs 2026 – School/College Teacher Interns Punjab (42 Posts)
The Office of the Mines Labour Welfare Commissioner, Punjab, invites applications from eligible male and female candidates domiciled in Punjab for engagement as School Teacher Interns (STIs) — 2026, under the MLWC STI Policy, 2026, across 8 Mines Labour Welfare institutions in Districts Mianwali, Sargodha, Chakwal, and Khushab. A total of 42 STI posts are available.
Candidates must apply separately to each institution against the relevant vacancy. The application form can be downloaded via the Google Docs link provided in the advertisement, and closing dates vary by institution (see schedule below).
About the Mines Labour Welfare Commissionerate
The Mines Labour Welfare Commissionerate, Punjab, operates a network of schools, colleges, and a vocational institute for mine labour welfare beneficiaries across several districts, and is currently hiring School Teacher Interns under its 2026 STI Policy.

General Instructions
- The engagement of STIs shall be purely temporary, institution-specific, non-transferable, and contractual for a maximum period of up to 9 months, excluding summer vacations, or till a regular incumbent joins — whichever is earlier.
- Only candidates within the age limit of 21 to 45 years, as on the closing date, are eligible to apply.
- The engagement shall not confer any right to regular appointment, extension of tenure, permanent absorption, or continuation in service.
- The list of shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the notice board of the concerned institution before the interview date. Candidates must produce original CNIC, domicile, educational/professional certificates, and experience documents at the time of interview.
- Incomplete applications or those received after the closing date shall not be entertained.
- Any false, forged, or fabricated information/document will result in immediate disqualification; if detected after engagement, the placement shall be treated as void and cancelled without notice.
- The STI Hiring Committee/Competent Authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies, withhold or cancel the recruitment process, or reject any/all applications, without assigning any reason; its decision on scrutiny, merit, and selection shall be final.
- Interviews shall be conducted at the respective educational institution where the STI vacancy exists, per the schedule above.
- The merit list shall be prepared in accordance with the MLWC STI Policy, 2026, and only eligible candidates shall be considered for interview.
- The Competent Authority's decision regarding eligibility, merit, selection, and interpretation of this advertisement's provisions shall be final and shall not be challenged in any Court.
Note: Preference will be given to candidates possessing professional qualifications (B.Ed/M.Ed) and relevant teaching experience.

- The form is also available free of cost at the office of the Principal/Head of the relevant School/College during office hours (9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., working days).
- Submit the duly filled application, accompanied by attested copies of CNIC, Domicile, Educational Certificates/DMCs, Professional Qualification Certificates (if any), Experience Certificates (if any), and two recent passport-size photographs, by hand only to the Principal/Head of the relevant School/College where the STI vacancy exists, within the prescribed closing date.
- Applications submitted via email, courier, WhatsApp, or any form other than the prescribed Application Form, as well as incomplete or late applications, shall not be accepted.
- Candidates applying for more than one post or institution shall submit a separate Application Form for each, along with the required supporting documents.
