The Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Defence (MOD) has announced 600 contract-based vacancies for qualified candidates across Pakistan. The latest Ministry of Defence Jobs 2026 offer opportunities from BS-01 to BS-16. The available positions cover administration, information technology, software development, engineering, intelligence support, technical services, clerical work, security and general support services.
Major vacancies include 177 Field Operator, 40 Technician, 38 Driver, 36 Operator Special, 28 Lower Division Clerk, 27 Cook, 20 Security Staff, 19 Sanitary Worker, 16 Traffic Analyst, 15 Site Supervisor (B&R), 15 Mali, and 14 Upper Division Clerk posts. Educational requirements depend on the post. They range from Primary, Middle and Matric to Intermediate, DAE, bachelor’s and postgraduate qualifications. Some posts also require relevant experience, technical certifications, licences or specialized training. The age limit is generally between 18 and 33 years. Eligible candidates may also receive age relaxation under the stated rules.
Candidates will first appear in a screening test. Only shortlisted candidates will move to the next test or interview stage. The screening test will have negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. All advertised positions are purely on a contract basis.

General Instructions / Important Notes
- Candidates must possess the required educational qualifications and fall within the prescribed age limits as of the closing date of applications.
- Age relaxation is allowed as follows:
- 3 years: Scheduled Castes, Buddhist Community, recognized tribes of Tribal Areas, AJK and Northern Areas/Gilgit-Baltistan.
- 3 years: Candidates from Sindh Rural and Balochistan for BS-15 and below.
- 10 years, up to age 55: Government servants who have completed at least two years of continuous government service by the closing date.
- 15 years or actual years served, whichever is less: Released or retired personnel of the Armed Forces of Pakistan.
- Candidates eligible under multiple categories will receive age relaxation under only one category.
- All eligible candidates will be called for the screening test. Only shortlisted candidates will proceed to further tests/interviews.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for tests or interviews.
- All advertised jobs are purely on a contract basis.
- The screening test carries negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
- Retired Armed Forces personnel will be enrolled according to the one-scale-down policy, and their last rank will be considered at appointment.
