COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) has announced a large-scale faculty recruitment drive across seven campuses — Islamabad, Sahiwal, Attock, Vehari, Abbottabad, Wah, and Lahore — for Professor (OG-IV), Associate Professor (OG-III), and Assistant Professor (OG-II) positions spanning disciplines including Computer Science, Electrical/Civil/Computer Engineering, Management Sciences, Mathematics, Humanities, Pharmacy, Physics, and various specialized fields. Eligible candidates must meet HEC and relevant professional council (PEC/PCATP) requirements as detailed on the CUI Careers Portal, and must apply separately for each position/campus with the applicable non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 2,000 (Assistant Professor) or Rs. 3,000 (Associate Professor/Professor). Interested candidates should apply online exclusively through https://careers.comsats.edu.pk by the closing date of October 5, 2026; candidates who already applied for Assistant Professor against the July 7, 2026 advertisement need not reapply.

About the University

COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) invites applications from interested candidates for the following faculty positions on an open merit basis at its various campuses.

How to Apply

1. Interested candidates are required to apply online through the CUI Careers Portal by visiting https://careers.comsats.edu.pk. Applicants must review the prescribed eligibility criteria carefully, complete the online application form, and upload all relevant academic and professional documents, including the HEC-attested terminal degree or HEC Equivalence Certificate (in the case of foreign qualifications), copies of all academic degrees/certificates, and experience certificates. Candidates must possess valid registration with the relevant accreditation/professional council, such as PEC, PCATP, or any other applicable council, wherever required for the position.
2. Candidates currently serving in Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous organizations must apply through the proper channel.
3. Applicants must also pay a non-refundable processing fee in favor of "COMSATS University Islamabad" as follows: Rs. 2,000 for the position of Assistant Professor, and Rs. 3,000 for the position of Associate Professor/Professor. The fee may be deposited online or at any branch of Askari Bank Limited.
4. Part-time, honorary, visiting, apprenticeship, freelancing, and intern experience shall not be counted as valid experience. Only experience letters issued by the respective HR/Registrar or relevant authority will be accepted.
5. Candidates applying for more than one position and/or campus must submit a separate online application, along with a separate processing fee, for each position/campus.
6. Only online applications shall be entertained. No hard copy of the application will be accepted.
7. Applications containing incomplete/fake information, or submitted without the prescribed application processing fee, will not be entertained.
8. If, at any stage, any deficiency is observed in the eligibility of a candidate, or any fake/incomplete information is found, their candidature may be cancelled or employment terminated immediately, as applicable. Candidates are required to upload only the relevant document(s).
9. No hard or soft copies of missing documents will be accepted after submission. No amendments, additions, or changes to the application will be entertained after the closing date for submission of job applications.
10. Candidates who have already applied for the position of Assistant Professor against advertisement dated July 07, 2026, need not apply again.
11. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
12. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the interview.
13. Applicable tax(es) will be deducted from the monthly salary as per rules.
14. COMSATS University Islamabad reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications without providing any reason.
