The Military Lands & Cantonments Department (Ministry of Defence) has announced 69 contract-based vacancies across 21 posts in the Cantt Public Education System, Quetta. The openings are at CP Girls School and College, Jinnah Town, and CP Boys School and College, Shahbaz Town. They include 4 Section Heads, 14 Montessori Teachers, 29 Junior Teachers, 9 Senior Teachers, 5 Islamiat/Nazra Teachers, 5 Assistant Teachers, a PTI, an Admin Supervisor, and an Accountant/School Clerk. Most teaching posts require a 16-year MA/MSc/BS with a B.Ed. Montessori Teachers need a 1-year Montessori Diploma, and Senior Teachers prefer an M.Phil/MS. Experience requirements run from fresh candidates to 3 years, and IT skills are mandatory for the teaching posts. Age limits range from 25 to 55 years depending on the post. Applications (PID(Q)96/26) must be submitted by 7 October 2026 through https://careers.mlc.gov.pk or by email. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the test and interview, with no TA/DA. For queries, call 081-9201799 or 081-9201443.

About the Organization

The Military Lands & Cantonments Department, under Pakistan's Ministry of Defence, has invited applications from eligible candidates for vacant posts in the Cantt Public Education System, Quetta. The openings are at CP Girls School and College, Jinnah Town and CP Boys School and College, Shahbaz Town, both in Quetta Cantt. The roles cover school leadership, Montessori, junior and senior teaching, Islamic studies, sports, administration, and accounts. All appointments are on a contract basis.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Section Head – 04 Posts (Female)

• Education: MA/MSc/BS (16 years) plus a mandatory B.Ed or M.Ed.
• Experience: 1 year as Vice Principal or Section Head in a reputed school and college.
• Age limit: 30–55 years.

2. Montessori Teacher – 14 Posts (Female)

• Education: MA/MSc/BS (16 years) plus a mandatory 1-year Montessori Diploma from a recognized institute.
• Skills: IT skills (MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel) are mandatory.
• Experience: 2 years of Montessori-level teaching.
• Age limit: 25–50 years.

3–9. Junior Teachers (English, Math, Urdu, Science, Computer, Social Studies, G.K) – 29 Posts in Total (Female)

The same criteria apply to all seven subjects:

• Education: MA/MSc/BS (16 years) plus a mandatory B.Ed.
• Skills: IT skills (MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel) are mandatory.
• Experience: 3 years in a reputed institute. For Junior Teacher (English), the ad states "reputed schools and colleges".
• Age limit: 25–55 years.

10–16. Senior Teachers (Urdu, Math, Pak. Studies, Biology, Computer, Chemistry, Physics) – 09 Posts in Total

The same criteria apply to all seven subjects:

• Education: MA/MSc/BS (16 years) in the relevant subject. An M.Phil/MS (18 years) is preferred, as is a B.Ed/M.Ed.
• Skills: IT skills (MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel) are mandatory.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in a reputed school and college.
• Age limit: 30–55 years.
• Gender: Female only for Urdu, Chemistry, and Physics. Open to both male and female for Math, Pak. Studies, Biology, and Computer.

17. Islamiat / Nazra Teacher – 05 Posts (Male/Female)

• Education: BA in a relevant subject (stated as 16 years), and the Shahadat-ul-Alamiyah in Arabic and Islamic Studies (16-year sanad) from a Wafaq-ul-Madaris-affiliated institution.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years (mandatory).
• Age limit: 30–55 years.

18. Assistant Teacher – 05 Posts (Female)

• Education: BA or BSc (minimum 4 years of education, as printed).
• Experience: Fresh candidates are welcome, and about 2 years of experience is preferred.
• Age limit: 25 years.

19. PTI – 01 Post (Female)

• Education: Intermediate (12 years).
• Preferred: Coaching courses from a recognized institution, departmental, provincial, or district-level coaching or playing experience, and physical training courses from recognized institutions.
• Experience: About 3 years of coaching or playing experience.
• Age limit: 30–55 years.

20. Admin Supervisor – 01 Post (Male)

• Requirement: Retired Army or Armed Forces personnel with a rank equivalent to Sergeant Major (SM), Subedar (Sub), or Naib Subedar (N Sub).
• Age limit: 45–55 years.

21. Accountant / School Clerk – 01 Post (Male)

• Education: MBA or BBA (Finance) or B.Com, or an equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized institute.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in a renowned educational institute is preferred.
• Age limit: 30–50 years.

Terms & Conditions

• All posts are on a contract basis and will remain so. They are non-transferable.
• Incomplete applications, or those submitted without following the proper procedure or after the deadline, will not be entertained.
• Applicants must bring attested copies of their CNIC and degrees verified by the HEC (or another relevant authority) at the time of the test or interview.
• The upper age is calculated up to the closing date for applications.
• Anyone previously terminated or disengaged from any position in the Cantt Public Education System is not eligible.
• The department may postpone the hiring process or cancel it at any stage without giving a reason.

Selection Process

• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the written test and interview.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the test or interview.
